Responsibilities:

• To provide product training, consultancy services and technical advice;
• Liaise with vendors on product support and systems integration;
• Keep up-to-date on technical knowledge and handle complicated technical issues for internal and external customers, provide the best solutions;
• Carry out lifecycle of new requirements - from documentation to implementation;
• Receive, manage and prioritise requirements from Sales / Marketing team and management team;
• Input and document ideas for product development and enhancement based on research / feedback;
• Perform and manage testing on all new product changes;
• Assist in documentation / content for new product releases (web, release notes, marketing);
• Change Request Management for product offering. ie. Generating CR, testing and approve for deployment;
• Bugs Tracking. ie. Reporting, testing and approve for deployment;
• Product Releases Testing. ie. Testing and approve for deployment;
• Propose on product improving, usability and standardisation;
• Requirements Study at Customer Site with Sales Team;
• Product documentation - Release Notes, Product updates and Training Manuals;
• Administrating:-
  • Daily check on functioning of Product
  • Maintain Notice Board, Email Notification, Enquiry
  • Generating e-Claims transaction.
  • Maintain all CRs, Bugs Reporting and New Release Documents.
• Any other ad-hoc request directed by your Head of Department from time to time as it arises;

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Preferably Junior Executives.
• Job role in Product Management.
• 3 Full-Time positions available.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Able to work under minimum supervision.
• 1 to 2 years experience.

Job Description:

•  As part of the applications development team responsible for developing, testing, deploy, maintaining and implementing the applications developed.

•  Design software systems and provide design specifications.

•  Develop software system from the design specifications.

•  Customize and maintain existing software products.

•  Participate in system implementation including installation, configuration, integration, acceptance test.

•  Perform diagnosis & code-level support when escalated by the product/support team on live systems.

•  Proactively report to Team Lead for any design or development issues.

•  Prepare system documentations including preparation of user / installation manual etc.

Job Requirements:

•   Candidate must posse at least a Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent

•   Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in C#, .NET, LINQ, HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, Javascript.

•   Have basic knowledge and understanding of RDBMS functionality and relational data modeling, especially in Microsoft SQL Server.

•   Understanding of modern Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum.

•   Independent & initiative; able to work under pressure & with a positive attitude.

•   Strong self-initiative, good analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

•   Good in managing priority and able to work independently under minimum supervision in a fast paced development cycles environment.

•   Good team player.

•   Applicants must be willing to work in Klang Valley and travel overseas.

PAC seals agreement with Danish insurance firm

PAC Total Solutions Sdn Bhd, a member of HeiTech Padu Bhd, expects to attract a bigger slice of the Malaysian insurance market with its partnership with Danish insurance provider, TIA Technology A/S as announced on November 14, 2007.

PAC chief executive officer, Eric Loo, said the company has selected to partner TIA Technology because of its proven record in innovating solutions that were effective and could help lower costs of ownership for insurers.

“With the partnership we will be able to strengthen our business presence, initially, in Malaysia and other Asian markets such as Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand,” he said.

Under the agreement, PTS will market and implement TIA Technology’s flagship product called, TIA Solution, not only in Malaysia but throughout Asia.
TIA Solution is a modular integrated core insurance solution that manages the entire insurance processes that has since been successfully adopted in 45 insurance companies in over 20 countries.
